The charging port on my phone broke and my only options through Verizon were use my insurance or upgrade. I'm happy with my phone so the upgrade option wasn't for me but if I paid the insurance deductible mathematically that did not make sense either. The Verizon rep recommended that I check out Fones Gone Wild. Unfortunately, the Verizon rep gave me wrong information and I went in thinking I could just buy a replacement phone for less than $100. That wasn't the case. They do have phones to buy but they are all around the $200 range. Now, for some people that is still a deal and makes sense, but not for me.
Fortunately, Angel, the Fone tech, informed me that he could fix the charging port, it would take about an hour and the price was very reasonable. This was my first time in a phone repair store so of course I asked about a warranty and he said it's covered for three months. This store is located near Meadows Mall so killing an hour was very easy. When I returned my phone was as good as new and Angel threw in a new screen cover. I'm hoping I won't need the services of Fones any time soon but I now know where to send friends with phone issues.
