| - I visited Duluth Trading Company a couple of weeks ago while traveling. In fact, I actually went out of the way to visit this place. After seeing all of the television commercials and advertisements in the mags, I thought I have got to go.
The main reason I wanted to check it out was I was under the impression that this place was made here in the good old USA. Well, I was WAY WRONG. Lately, I have been into the "support the made in USA" thing. Without a doubt, a great cause, you know, if you can buy something American made, buy that instead of the Chinese crap.
The main point I would like to point out here is Duluth TC gives the impression that their products are true red white and blue, but in fact most of their clothing is imported. Pants, shirts, undies, etc.
For what it is (pants, shirts, etc) it is very expensive for what you get. I think Duluth TC is really interested in being more of a "trendy" thing, like Eddie Bauer stuff. You know, Chinese polo shirts for $70.00.
Kind of crazy.
I was very disappointed to say the least.
I think Duluth TC should stop attempting to carry the impression they are a seller of American stuff from the old days when everything was made here. It is misleading.
