This is the only place I go to get my hair cut. I have had mid-back to waist length hair for the last 25+ years. Yesterday, I went in for a major hair cut. I have used a level 7 stylist each time I've been in because with really long hair, I want someone who knows what they are doing. I don't want to be practice for a newbie. I made my appt with Mila yesterday. She is the salon director and also a stylist. I brought in a few pictures of actress Jennifer Elfman's short bob/pixie type cut along with some other ideas. Mila had good advice on what type of cut was better suited to my thick, but fine, hair. After many deep breaths and a tear or two, I cut 14" off my hair and donated it. The cut and highlights turned out fabulous and I've had a zillion FB friends comment on how affordable my hair looks. A HUGE transformation for me and I couldn't be happier with the results. On top of that, when I got ready to check out, I was expecting to pay over $200 for everything because I chose the highest skilled stylist in the salon and cuts by a level 7 stylist usually run around $85-90, as do coloring/highlighting by such a skilled stylist (which I also had done). They only charged me $80 for the root touch up and highlights. When I told the girl that didn't sound right and ask about the cut, she said it was complimentary with a hair donation. That's a $85-90 savings! I love my cut even more now! I highly recommend Mila if you want someone who knows what she's doing. She's worth every penny and really knows her stuff!
