| - I have been a residence now at Andante since June '13 & would definitely recommend moving here but can only based off of my experience rate them a 3.5. You quickly learn as a resident that you will require your own pest control company to handle the scorpions. I stay on the third floor and within my first week upon moving in found 5 scorpions. I gave their pest control guy a chance but unfortunately they aren't working with the juice required to get these bad boys taken care of so I found another company that has been fantastic but that's for a different review. Btw it's not just scorpions, the ants are horrendous in the courtyard areas, the roaches in the grass suck, and the misc pest, really if your product isn't working on crickets what is it doing?! Honestly Andante wasn't my first choice. There was an apartment in Phoenix I really wanted but was on a wait list for. When I came to look at this property I was impressed with the clean grounds, dog friendly environment and most of all Darryl the leasing agent in the office. He charmed the pants off my mom (figuratively speaking of course) and convinced her it's safer than moving to Phoenix, more convenient, and a better area for her grandson aka Frappe my little 7 1/2lb Yorkie mix. I cant lie, for the price you really couldn't beat the square footage, convenience of being close to the 10, and the luxury of having a washer and dryer in unit. My apartment was clean and I quickly fell in love with my new home. Unfortunately the office staff changed over my year of being here and not everyone was as thorough, kind, or helpful as what I had grown accustom too. Now before I go any further the maintenance guys, seriously, they're rockstars. So efficient, fast and on the ball -they're literally ninjas lol in out and on with life. Well anywho I've had more than my fair share of hiccups with the changes in office staff. It's unfortunate I'll be relocating to MD when they finally have someone in the office who genuinely cares about their tenants. Her name is Sabrina and she's an absolute delight to work with. When I reached out to her in regards to my concerns she called me down and talked me through everything even though you could clearly see she had a lot of work to do. If Andante can keep wonderful staff members like Darryl and Sabrina on board and get rid of their current pest control company they'll be 5 stars in no time.
