| - Oh my gosh! Can I vote to award Dish about 5 extra stars! I started going here when I was around 18 and 12 years later, it still manages to blow my mind. If there was one word to describe this place, it is consistent. There are so many businesses in which you read reviews and the longer the exist, the more likely they start to go downhill on quality. That is not how Dish is. Everything is amazing from beginning to end
I went with my one girlfriend to celebrate a promotion she had gotten and we decided we would eat everything that we could possibly handle. For appetizers, we shared the carpaccio, Melanzane e Mozzarella di Bufala, and the shrimp appetizer. All three were perfect but my favorite was the carpaccio. If you have ever read my other reviews, it should be of no shock, but it was truly amazing.
For the our main courses, we both chose to go with pasta. I ordered a cavatelli with a lamb ragu and my friend ordered the mushroom pappardelle. I loved my dish so much that I could not stop eating it until it was almost gone (quite the accomplishment for someone who is shorter and scrawnier than most). We even decided to split a tiramisu and I managed to fit a few bites in before succumbing to a long, carb coma.
I feel like it is also important to note that the service is always amazing here. The atmosphere is intimate and everything is warm and inviting. It's not trendy or cool. It's just great, simple food that is made perfectly. I highly recommend going to Dish for any special event or for no reason at all!
