We had a party of 16 for a celebration, plenty of advance notice, but the Bandung was not quite up to the task. Firstly, we were immediately told that they were "out of tempeh" the delicious Indonesian version of tofu that forms the basis of many of their signature dishes. How did this happen? Secondly, there was a wait of about an hour between our appetizers and the main dishes, just too long. The lack of tempeh was felt, although the variety of veggie and meat dishes were well spiced and tasty (although sometimes skimpy on ingredients, such as a dish that featured mushrooms but included only a few bits and pieces of *canned* mushrooms. Have been dining at Bandung for many years--they need to get their act together again, use only fresh ingredients--and never run out of tampeh!
