i've been a progressive customer for, oh... about a year. my 6 month payment was coming up and i got to thinkin' "why am i paying for so much coverage on such a shitty car?" now don't get me wrong, i love my car and i need it to get from point a to point b, but she ain't no looker. so, i decided to call and talk to one of the reps.
my wait time was less than 2 minutes before i got to talk to a live human being. my human was a native english speaker (or at least a very convincing facsimile) and was friendly as could be. she went through every line item of my policy and showed me how each of the options to change it would effect my coverage as well as my cost. she worked with me for at least a half an hour to create a policy tailored to my needs, decreasing the cost without compromising my coverage. i wound up saving myself close to $100.
*random factoid: in addition to cars, boats and motorcycles, progressive also insures segways. so, if you find yourself constantly colliding w/ other segway geeks, i recommend you give them a call.
