| - Chic hotel beautifully appointed with crystal chandeliers, ultra-modern decor and shiny surfaces everywhere you look. However, it still manages to remain a warm atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. There are private and semi-private bars tucked away at the ends of winding staircases throughout 3 transparent floors in the middle of the building, that top out with a shopping floor with some fantastic shops. Everywhere you turn there is something interesting to look at, whether it is a piece of modern art, crystal sculpture, or the fully-automated gaming tables that are lit from within.
I was here for one night to participate in a friend's bachelor's party. We stayed in the Wraparound Terrace Suite. The glass doors open to an expansive, wraparound private terrace allowing fresh air and sunlight to pour into suite's spacious interior. With panoramic views of the Vegas skyline, the suite has a sleek, modern kitchen with a Sub-Zero minibar, microwave, oven, stove and dishwater. An in-suite washer/dryer is also included. Three majestic sliding glass doors leading to a private terrace, separate dining area, stocked bar, and Samsung plasma-screen TVs.
The hotel is situated across from the Miracle Mile shopping area, the Bellagio, and the Paris, in a prime location. If you want a new and spectacular Vegas experience, you can't go wrong with the Cosmopolitan in my opinion.
