Cozy, down-home and super friendly, this restaurant made the grade.
I didn't try the pasta, but my chicken sandwich with provolone and mushrooms was generously portioned and the side salad (a $2.00 up charge) was garnished with goodies. I felt okay about this.
More than anything, I was blown away by the friendly service. The waitress was super busy, yet attentive, and willing to go the extra mile when something wasn't quite right. Even the young guy cleaning tables was willing to help. How sweet?
I don't know if the prices, which are a little steeper than most restaurants like this, are worth it. But I would come back to find out.
