| - Unhelpful and Uncaring.
I drove 220 miles round trip to have my Macbook Pro looked at and a new logic board was the verdict, unfortunately not in stock.I pointed out the distance I had to drive and asked if I showed up at store opening when the board came in, and hung around all day, could I get the job done that day - no was the reply, it wouldn't be fair to our other customers! Duh!
When the email arrived telling me the board was in I tried to contact the store manager but he was "unavailable" but I could send him an email which I did. After two days and no reply I phoned back and was directed to Steve, "one of the store managers"? who essentially told me the same thing. Again I asked if I arrived at store opening could they tell me if it would be ready that day, I indicated I would hang around until store closing. "No, we can't do that was the reply. So I could wait the whole day and get nothing, or go home and drive a third 220 mile trip.I try to be fair, but no matter how you dice and slice that response it is utter uncaring crap.
I was a PC user and switched to Mac, what a mistake.
Possibly I will get the job done in one day, but regardless, this is a pitiful way to treat a customer who lives nowhere near their store.
