  • The boy and I couldn't decide on what to eat so we just started driving. I had passed by earlier in the day with a co-worker and we noticed this place on our way back from lunch. I had been reading the reviews for this place for a little while as I've been on the lookout for new places to go during lunches at work so we don't eat the same places ALL the time. I mentioned it to the boy and off we went. I was slightly apprehensive about coming in due to the previous reviews regarding their experiences with poor service (one of my biggest pet peeves), but devided to put those thoughts behind me. We entered and were greeted and seated immediately. We sat in the bar side and had a great view of the olympics being played on 3 large screens and 2 additional smaller screens in the back. Our server came over right away and took our drink order. He checked on us a couple of times, without being pushy, to see if we were ready to place our order. I landed on the turkey pot pie which comes with a side salad and the boy got a burrito. The salad was a mixed green variety, with some of the healthier greens (not just iceburg) and some veggies. It was a good size, without being too filling before the meal. Odie (our server) came by to check on us frequently and provided updates for our food, explaining they make the pot pie from scratch, etc. We weren't just forgotten until he needed to provide our meal or until he wanted the check, he made sure to stop by and check on us regularly, again, without being too pushy or too frequent. We ended up spending just over $30. The boy finished his meal, so no leftovers for him. I had quite a bit of the pot pie left, so I got two meals out of my dish. Had we looked at the price of drinks, we likely would have stuck with just water. We both ordered sodas, which are a litle pricey in my opinion. They have some decent looking lunch specials for $5.95. I will definitely come back with my coworker and try a couple out.
