  • This review is primarily about the salon. Amber did my hair today and she killed it in the best way possible. I had been dying my hair black for 13 years when I decided to go platinum at home. It was a disaster and I fried my hair, and then tried to save it with a diy cut that everyone was really nice about, but it was JACKED. I wish I was kidding. Amber was super nice. I was taken with no appointment and she was by far the most attentive stylist who has ever touched my hair. I am introverted and nervous, she picked up my cues and was very professional and very friendly. We discussed what I wanted done, she was honest about what was not plausible (like saving all my hair and wishing this whole trauma away), and did such an amazing job. She recommended a few products within my budget to save my ends from future styling blunders, and I checked out and was on my way. I walked in feeling like a junkyard dog and left feeling like a boss. We'll done, Amber and the team at Ulta. You guys were awesome today.
