Let me preface by saying I myself am a Retail Manager for a large store in Vegas that probably does more than they do in sales in a given day. That being said I feel qualified to say.....super disappointing. I picked this location because I felt it had the stronger yelp reviews. Poor decision.
Made an appointment in advance for a bridesmaid fitting. Why? Not sure because my stylist didn't stay with me. When I first walked in no "welcome to Davids Bridal" from the receptionist...she actually seemed annoyed. I sit down to check in and after shaking hands with the manager(?) and me introducing myself she called me by another name. I correct her and she's like "oh I was looking farther down the list for today". Um ok I just introduced myself but maybe I can look past this too. Then she asks if I'm the bride. Now I'm annoyed. Why make an appointment for a BRIDESMAID FITTING if you're going to ask and maybe hope to make more commission off me if I'm the bride? Nope. Next my stylist comes over. Doesn't introduce herself. Not personable. This one now asks if I'm *brides name* and I try to politely tell her that's the bride for the wedding I'm in. Made me feel so not valued as a customer. I came prepared with a list of dresses I wanted to try. She seemed impatient even though I knew exactly what I wanted! My top pick she told me "we don't have that" so I grabbed it myself when I found it on the rack. That's the one I ended up ordering so it could have lost her the sale, honestly. She didn't come back to check on me. I had to ask someone else to do the zipper for me. I had to come to the appointment alone so I really could have used help...again when you schedule an appointment you assume you will be serviced. Another family came in after me (maybe with an appointment as well I'm not sure) but she stayed with them and I stood there awkwardly waiting to say "I want to order this dress" but she never came over. I finally had to ask another stylist her opinion on fit. The checkout process wasn't smooth either. Never told me the total asked me to swipe my card and the price wasn't on the terminal screen so I had to ask "what's the total?". Ridiculous. Come on. I felt like she didn't explain how alterations and things work either but at that point I already decided when the dress comes in I will take it elsewhere for alterations FOR SURE. I would never shop this or any Davids Bridal again.
I work retail. I know customer service. A Bridal salon should pride themselves in service. I really hope corporate or at least upper management sees his review because there are issues with basic customer servicing that need addressed. I will be writing to corporate as well. My experience here was absolutely awful.
