| - I wasn't honestly looking forward to this because it's just throwing some fucking axes at wood. Hello, I can do that in my backyard. Heck the guy working, Bobby, even told me the proper feet back for each line to set it up myself if I wanted to at home. Hubby and I joined a group of friends here and I have to say that even though throwing axes got boring after a bit, I did really end up enjoying myself. It was $22.50 ($25 without NV ID) to throw axes for an hour. They do have longer sessions, but you might want to start out with an hour because your arm will get tired. I actually only paid $5 to rent shoes (if you have open toe shoes they make you rent shoes and give you socks to go in the throwing area) and watch however since I had to sign the waiver anyway, I got to throw some. They have different lanes and 2 people can team up and take turns playing. The wood on each lane is different, some have more knots in the wood than others making it harder to get the axes to in stay in. What actually made this fun for me was walking around and cheering on my friends and taking pictures of them throwing. My hubby didn't end up hooked on throwing axes, but he did like being able to experience it and adding friends in the mix always makes it more fun. Some of our friends that joined us did really like it and a couple of them actually play on a league here, so there's clearly a market for this sort of business out there. When we were finished, Bobby was kind enough to take a group photo of us and he also was just super chill and funny, Bobby's got jokes! I can't say I am going to be rushing back anytime soon, but I as well our group really did enjoy ourselves and this is something people should at least give a try once to see if they like it.
