This is not a knock specifically against the Mount Pleasant and Davisville gym but more so against corporate.
I was a loyal member for 10 years and recently cancelled my membership because I'd moved out of province. I unexpectedly moved back to Toronto and so have tried to re-activate my membership but was told I was outside the 60 day grace period.
While I acknowledge that I am outside the grace period, it's only been a few months! Prior to that I was a loyal member for 10 years. I paid my membership even when I was living out of the country and not using the gym. And now when I want to reactivate and come back this is how I'm repaid?
I'm totally willing to pay for the months that I missed if I could just reactivate. Happy to do that. But I cannot pay the full rate so if I can't come back on my membership I simply won't be coming back. Goodlife will have lost a dedicated customer for nothing.
I'm very disappointed in Goodlife's management of its customers. I just went from a promoter of the brand to a detractor in a matter of days.
