  • My partner and I have lived here for almost 2 years and sadly we have to move tomorrow. They are no longer renewing leases and we're not in the position to buy - though we definitely would if we could! Pros: - Joe, Dino, Darian, and Chris: from sales, security and reception respectively. Those who work in and around The Ogden are extremely competent and also awesome people. - The residents are a big family, you can get to know your neighbors if you would like to. There's always someone to feed your cat if you jet away on the weekend. - There are two great bars *in* the building: Itsy Bitsy and Oddfellows. Also within one block you have lots of food options: Le Thai, Vegenation, Therapy, La Comida, Bronze Cafe and the best breakfast in Las Vegas: eat. - There is a hair/beauty salon in the building. Also MintLocker, a magical box where you put your clothes and they come back dry cleaned the next day. - Pool / gym / sky deck are open 24 hrs - If your unit faces north you get to watch the mainstage of Life is Beautiful festival for free. Also if you're into aviation, north units look over Nellis Air Force Base. There are multiple "red flag" training days throughout the year, the annual airshow, and the RedBull air race. You can't hear them but you can see them. The first time you see a massive B-52 bomber doing combat training you will freak out (in a good way). - There is not a commercial flight path over the building. No rattling windows. Thank god. - For the buyers among us: the HOA fees are lower than other condos and you get a lot for it. The building is relatively new and not plagued with the pipe issues like Regency Towers, or exploding water heaters like Turnberry. - Google the Downtown Las Vegas master plan. They're suggesting an extension of the monorail (that's currently on the strip) north to connect Downtown and south to the airport. Also they are planning for new parks and trees to line the streets. Also - a full sized supermarket only a couple blocks away. Cons: - I'm only adding cons so it doesn't look like a fake review - When both doors of the service elevator are left open the lobby smells like trash - It can be noisy sometimes, this is the entertainment district If you're in the position to buy or rent from a private owner here, definitely recommend coming in for a walkthrough. Can't believe we're moving. We will miss you Ogden!
