So much fun!! I came here for a school field trip with a million kindergarten students!!I work with special needs students so I was responsible for one particular student however I help around when I can . It was quite exhausting I must say!
The activities for the day were well organized and each one was very engaging! Students, teachers and parents (that were there) loved it!
Activities included:
- wagon ride around the field
- educational station for pumpkins (a person talked about how pumpkins grow, the different names/kinds of them, some were passed around to look at, and the "guts" were shown)
- walked around the animal pen (they had goats, chickens and rabbits)
- scarecrow station: each class had the chance to make their own scarecrow! They put clothing on a stick and each student took turns stuffing it with straw, so much fun! And we got to bring it back to our classroom!
- we had lunch! We were given enough time which was nice. Nothing worse then rushing a bunch little people to eat!
- after lunch we had plenty of free time. We played in a big pit of hay, went through a corn maze, they had a big slide and bouncy balloon things!
I HAD to get some pie so I quickly ran to the store to buy an apple crumble pie, pumpkin pie and a dozen pumpkin donuts the apple pie was sooooooooo goooooooood!!!!!!!
The only thing I didn't like were the porta potty's working with special needs students that require toileting made it quite difficult!
