  • I get it - one of the most stressful things in the world is going to a new hair stylist. This was my problem when I moved to Madison about a year ago. I spent the next few months trying several salons that were a little more affordable, but the quality just didn't compare to my experiences at William Jon Salon. I'm particularly picky about my hair, since I love a crazy volume and stylish hairdo that is also fairly low maintenance. Many folks who've worked on my hair always comment on how surprisingly thick my hair (it's full of secrets) and difficult it is to work on, but very few have been able to make it look exactly how I want it to. Enter Katrina, an incredibly attentive and talented woman! I showed her a reference picture of how I wanted my hair, and she spent the next hour making sure it was perfect. That entire time, we talked about random topics like wine, family, and even travel, and I felt as if I was catching up with an old friend. Without fail, I always get a ton of compliments and questions about where I get my hair done whenever Katrina works her magic on my head. Needless to say, I have found my hairstylist for the rest of my life out here in Madison, and think it's definitely worth paying a little bit more and loving every moment of my fabulous hair instead of saving those extra 15 bucks and sighing every time I look in the mirror!
