This place has upped their game. Like Fate Brewing, I was less than impressed with their initial offerings but over the course of a couple years in operation the bugs have been worked out and the quality has steadily improved. I would list Fate amongst the top brewpubs in the metroplex now and my hope is that NMB is on the same track. Case in point: I was going to get a flight in order to reassess my opinion of their lineup but the Helles Lager that I started with was so good I ended up drinking it all night. And if they can make a solid lager then that speaks volumes. Not 100% sold on the overall lineup but the technique is there and they are taking chances. A Broyhan on tap? Really? (Similar to a Berliner Weiss)
Good variety on the tap list, high quality food with some interesting menu items, nice atmosphere. This isn't a premier beer geek destination just yet but it is showing promise and I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area and want a well made beer.
Concerns: parking is tight during peak hours and the ventilation system doesn't seem to be up to the task so when it's busy the place gets a little smoky from the open kitchen.
