One day I met Ana (eyebrow threader) in the parking lot of Smith's. I was sitting in the car and she approached me about her threading services-she stood at my car door talking to me for at least 10 minutes about my brows and what she can do. Although I wasn't too impressed with her approach, I decided to give her a try, as I was in need of threading. Fast forward to this week, I sent her a text asking if I can come in and she said she was available right then. She failed to tell me there were three people ahead of me. I wasn't too annoyed because she was very fast and she did thread my upper lip area for free.
She did a nice job on my brows, I've had better and worse, nothing about the service sticks out as phenomenal.
What I didn't particularly care for was how she kept trying to upsell me with eyebrow tinting and insisting that I tell all of my family and friends about her. She went as far as to fill in my brows to give me an idea of what the tint would look like which took extra time. I told her I was really not interested but she kept pushing the service for "next time".
There was also another lady who kept asking me about my hair. I told them I already have a stylist that I am completely satisfied with yet she kept asking me about a roller set and what I do to my hair.
All in all this would have been a great, convenient option for me, but they were pushy and overbearing and I doubt I will go back.
