| - Called at 2:45pm on a Tuesday and asked if they'd be able to take me in for a gel mani and basic pedi at 3:00pm. I was super stoked when they were able too! I'm a new client, and found this place on Yelp. When I got there, they had me pay first, which was a little odd to give a tip before I got my nails done. They had a huge basket of nail colors to have me choose from. While I looked through the box with one hand, the nail tech (older guy, I didn't get his name!), started working on my other hand. I have NEVER ever seen anyone cut my cuticles with such precision. Most places I go to do it really quickly and I leave with my cuticles ragged. He paid a lot of attention to detail while cutting my cuticles and shaping my nails, which was nice. I almost got acrylic nails, but my nail tech informed me I shouldn't since my nails were healthy and strong. I thought that was really cool that he didn't take the opportunity to do acrylic nails and charge me more! My nails were painted nicely and he gave me a nice hand massage. I moved over to the massage chairs to get a pedicure. They have the nicest massage chairs I've ever seen in a nail salon! They even had iPads connected to them so you can play on them or watch videos while you're getting pampered. The water was nice and hot, and he took the time to really scrub the bottom of my feet. He noticed I had a recent scar that wasn't healing well on my ankle, asked if that area was sore, and when I said it kinda was, he made sure to go around it when exfoliating my legs and giving me my massage! When my boyfriend came into wait for me, they were gracious enough to let him sit on the massage chair next to me, which was nice. This place was a little pricey for a nail spa, but it was definitely worth every penny. They really take care of you here.
