Love the show . . . unfortunately due to popularity, the folksy nature of the place has changed. All areas are windowed off, you go through a little"tour" and they charge $35 to go through the back lot to look at potential canidates for restorations. Maybe that's what people expect these days with the high marks given here. I was surprised.
To top the tourist feel, they have an extensive trinket shop with the t-shirts, posters, magnets and such. Saw no one from the show, but that's OK, I really wanted to see restorations in progress anyway.
Disappointing, but still enjoy the TV show . . .
