  • It's not the same. The prices went up portions down. I ordered the baked cod. It was boiled cod. There is a difference. If I wanted boiled cod I would have ordered it. A little paprika would have helped the presentation. It was bland and water logged. I ordered a loaded baked potatoe. The worst I've ever had. A baked potatoe with raw onions, a couple chunks of bacon and some melted cheddar cheese on top. I had to add butter and salt and pepper and it would have been nice to have some sour cream. It was awful! Dry and bland. Really a disappointment. I gave 2 stars for the server and her attentiveness. I probably won't go back especially since esquire club cost less for more. I use to love the avenue fish fry but not the same quality of food since new owners. 1 thing I did like was additional booths and less crowded table seating. Sorry but you need help in the kitchen.
