| - Szalay's is a fabulous farm market located in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley. It is essentially a farmers market that's open every day from June to October. The hours are 9-7. Most of the produce that is offered here is from the farm owned by the Szalay family, which the market is on. There are all sorts of fruits and veggies, great treats such as pies, cookies, and other various items. A lot of the produce is grown on site, but a lot of stuff is ordered from across the country (you can't grow pineapple in Ohio). Many of their desserts come from other local businesses. Outside, during weekends, there is a stand selling fresh roasted corn, fresh squeezed lemonade, ice cream, and a few other treats. You can sit among the many tables and chairs scattered out front. Their corn is their specialty. You can see the corn fields no matter which direction you come from. Overall, if you're in the Cleveland area and need some fresh produce, or just want to stop at a quaint farm market, stop at Szalay's. Be warned though; weekends are very crowded, with people coming from all over the area.
