Okay, this place has gone downhill since my last visit. We ordered a thai iced tea and it tasted like southern sweet tea brewed too strong covered in condensed milk: not spiced and refreshing like it should taste... Just bitter and sugary. Then we got the summer rolls, which came with a sweet and sour sauce instead of (the usual and expected) peanut sauce. At this point my teeth were aching from all the sugar but we ordered the Pad Thai anyways. Wow. Just wow. Instead of a fragrant, light, zesty sauce on the noodles, the dish was covered in gobs of frozen-entree-mandarin-chicken sauce. Soooo sweet and sooooooooo badly cooked. The noodles were practically inedible. The only saving grace was the waiter who took the dishes away from us and had the kitchen make us something else. Granted, that "something else" was also pretty inedible but we ate as much as we could and got out of there ASAP. Won't be back, not worth the almost $40 tab.
