I'm a local so I don't venture to the strip much. Since the M properties decided to start charging for parking I've since avoided M properties whenever possible. MGM Grand is connected to the Arena so when events come I end up having to park at the MGM. I haven't seen much of the property since not venturing to it much except from the parking lot to the arena.
This review is mainly on the gambling aspect of the property. After an event I decided to try my luck at one of my favorite games ZUMA. They had a couple machines. I sat down and played. I sat at the machine for 90 minutes NEVER hitting a bonus OR any of the jackpots. VERY hard to believe when I've played this machine at other casinos and I at least hit a bonus 10-15 minutes into playing. Nope not on this occasion. I played different amounts all throughout my game time. I don't think I ever won more than $20 on a good spin. I put in $200 of my own money and cashed out w/ zero. Very disappointing to see just how tight the machine was. I should've stuck to my guns and not played, but I figured I've done well on the machine before so why not take a crack.
