  • I only shop here because it's basically the only option in Mt. Washington. And I have to say, their prices are decent. There are so many reasons to be frustrated with this Shop and Save! First of all, their inventory is terrible. They are frequently out of product and also frequently switch up which brands they carry, what they stock, etc. We found these peanut butter snack bites that we loved, only to find they stopped carrying them after a month. I know this happens sometimes, but it happens here ALL the time. Very inconsistent. The lines are slow. The hours stink (they close WAY too early for the only store in Mt. Washington!) The parking lot sucks. Also. One time I went to grab some french bread from the bakery section. A MILLION fruit flies came flying out. Talk about gross. And, never buy stamps here. They make you pay in cash and charge much more than at the post office, which is right down the street. If any other option were to come into Mt. Washington, I would definitely switch my business. I also think some competition might encourage this Shop and Save to do a better job! I frequently drive far to other stores just because I don't like this one or don't have faith that they will have what I need. Very disappointing.
