| - I had almost the identical experience here as Yelper Tony K. I came to Chakra 4 for the first time to buy some spices that I could find nowhere else in town. They have a good supply of just about anything. I picked up a menu, thought it looked interesting and made a mental note to come here from lunch sometime soon.
(Insert Tony K.s review here)
After I was greeted and seated, the server took forever to acknowledge me. In fact, I had to walk to the front and get my own menu. The server said so few words to me the entire time that I literally thought she had an impairment of some sort (and she might well have).
I ordered "the fellowship" which consists of two dips (I chose the nutty rawvocado and the black bean sunflower hummus), a few raw vegetables and sliced pita triangles on the side -- totally no frills. I ordered just water to drink. My meal took a long time, and no communication was forthcoming from the server When it arrived and the dips were about the size of an average ice cream scoop.
The server never checked back to see if I liked my food or if she could get me anything else. Not that she was slammed at all, just chatting with her friends and walking around at a snail's pace, ignoring customers. I finally had to flag her down and ask for the check. She said nothing, and after awhile went and retrieved the check and plopped it down at my table, again with zero words.
The food was OK, nothing remarkable. What was remarkable, was that I paid $15 for a tiny plate of just-OK food and a glass of water. Never again.
