Carson Kitchen is located Downtown Las Vegas on 6th street right next O Face donuts and two blocks away from the El Cortez. When we arrived at the restaurant I was not sure I was at the right place at first. The front of the restaurant blends in with the block . As we walked in we noticed that the restaurant was full and busy at 7pm on a Friday night. I was with a group of 12 people. We had water at our table served to us right away and we were given wonderful, attentive service by the staff. Water is so important because it was about 114 degrees last night. The menu was explained as well as the "cook to order style" Our food was served quick and with a smile. Whatever you ordered you get as soon as its ready. The food is hot, fresh and seasonal. Each entree is made to share or not share if you choose. I ordered the rainbow cauliflower, it was excellent! I cant wait to try to duplicate this dish at home. I also ordered the Veal meatballs, excellent as well. I thought the cream sauce and the peas were a nice touch. I sampled other dishes like the fried chicken skins, very good for those that like chicken skin. I had a great dinning experience and I am looking forward to going back. A special shout out to our server who went above and beyond for our group last night, thanks again for your great service.
