| - What you need to know - right now - only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Right now: not much in terms of seating (none at all) so this place is pretty much a take out and go place.
Space - super clean and basic - but honestly that is all you really need.
Depending on when you go - there maybe 3-4 small sized cakes available for ready-to-go eating, well as 3-4 different tarts and individual cake slices.
The character macarons - about 18 different types on offer, sold in 1, 3 and 9s - character themes (Disney, Totoro and Sanrio are the main ones) they are good and while they are pricier than ordinary macarons, they are quite labour intensive. Flavour-wise, they are really good.
Cakes are definitely more geared towards Eastern tastes, they aren't heavy on the sugar. I do think it is worth checking out the Zen Cake, which has matcha, a light milky taste, with earthy sesame in the cake. It is dense, moist but not overly sweet and you have a small whiff of the matcha - which isn't overpowering.
Pricing - It is on the higher end, but for the quality of cake you are getting, I would consider it to be fair value and the products are well worth the price.
For cake orders - they are strongly recommending that you place your order at least a week in advance.
Service is pleasant and they seem to have a good system going to helping maintain orders and efficiency.
If you do go, I would recommend within the few couple of hours of opening to guarantee the most choice.
Weird fact about DaanGo's location - it used to be a hair salon.
