  • I was recommended the cakes here so I tried their Mother's Day special cake, which was a cake filled with mango, coconut and bird's nest. We had ordered this cake 4 days in advance and were told it would be ready by 1pm on Sunday. I arrived at 4pm to pick it up but was asked to wait another 20 minutes because it wasn't ready. The cake tasted good enough, but there was a whole layer inside that was frozen, which wasn't a very nice feel in a spongy cake. Then we found in one of the slices, a really dark and thick piece of hair sticking out of the cake! Really unpleasant indeed, and my mother wasn't so impressed with the whole cake. When I did call the bakery, the manager/owner I spoke to was really apologetic about the situation and offered a $10 gift card for the store.
