  • I had an MRI of my hip and lower spine. The music playing in the room was very relaxing. I was amazingly comfortable on the table & covered with a flannel sheet on top of the scrubs they gave me to borrow. My first case I was in my own clothing but the 2nd I needed to change. (nothing metal such as a bra or necklace) Dave the MRI technician was helpful in that he explained how long each scan would take 2- 5 min. It was a Friday & it actually felt good to close my eyes and just rest + listen to the excellent calming music. It was almost like a day at a Spa. Though MRI's make a noise, it was not scary to me at all. The front office staff were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out in 30 min. or so. There was plenty of free parking. It was tempting to stay surrounded by the pleasant music selection.
