  • Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Vdara and I would definitely stay here again. Room: We booked (through Jetsetter) a deluxe suite, which comes with a king bed, a pull-out sofa bed (by request), and a kitchenette. I really liked having the kitchenette so we could put our leftovers and drinks in the mini-fridge instead of an ice bucket. The decor is very luxe but modern, and the rooms are very clean and new (since the hotel is only a year or two old). Bathrooms were very spacious and came stocked with Aveda toiletries and a huge tub & shower. The view from our room (I think we were on the 30 or 40-something floor) was awesome as well. Overall, I was very pleased with the room, especially for the price! Much nicer than most of the other hotels I've stayed at within the same price range. My only complaint is that the comforters were a bit stiff. Amenities & staff: The front desk staff is great at Vdara. They are very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Concierge and housekeeping are a little slower (so it took a while for our extra towels & sheets order to come through), but the experience was forgivable. The pool is actually very nice; located on a rooftop, there's always a nice breeze going. It's a fun atmosphere, with loud music playing and bikini-clad waitresses walking around and taking drink orders (a little less kid-friendly). Location: Vdara's location is OK. They are a little bit further down the strip and you have to take some detours to simply walk out of there. Most of the time, I ended up taking the tram around Crystals to get out... it can get a little complex. But, if you are planning on shopping and/or hitting up Marquee for the dayclub/nightclub, Vdara is in a great location, with the Cosmopolitan right next door. There are no cheap food options within the hotel & the City Center, so you're gonna have to walk out on the strip to find any food-court type places. Overall, I really liked Vdara and would recommend it as a more affordable option among the nicer hotels in Vegas.
