| - It was worse than I thought, that's for sure. The first room smelled too smokey and frankly, was very broken down, so I asked to switch rooms. At this point, I would have left and found a nicer hotel, but it was too late because I used airline miles to get it.
The second room did not inspire confidence, but it was better than the first. I had gotten a room with a kitchenette thinking that it would have come with cooking utensils, etc, since it had a stove. That was not the case. So not sure what the point is.
I also did not realize it was next door to a strip club, but sure enough we drove back at night and the building was lit up hot pink. So.... yeah. Signs around warn you to park at your own risk. Haha, I let the photos fool me.
I wanted a middle of the road hotel because we had a toddler and I didn't want people to be rude if she was being, well, like a toddler can be, but I certainly did not expect it to be as questionable and dirty as it was.
Also, breakfast room is crowded and dirty and smells like grease. Guests don't throw their plates away so it gets really gross in there really fast. Anyway, never ever staying here again.
Also, my room lock broke really early in the morning and the hotel had to wake a very large man up to come break into my room with a 4" blade. I'm really glad that was the day I was scheduled to check out.
Next time I will pay more, and tell any people that give my loud niece dirty looks what they can do with their attitude.
