I have run in Petite Thuet a number of times to grab a couple macarons as a treat.
I can't say that I've had inspiring service since I am always just in-and-out. The person behind the counter is usually a woman at each of my visits, and I have no complaints regarding her service. I also don't have much to say about the decor, although the location is highly convenient!
The macarons themselves have been pretty consistent for me, with a thin shell that *just* breaks upon tooth-contact, and the filling is a lovely, creamy burst of (usually) chocolate. I prefer them from Thuet than from most other "known" macaron joints in town.
Disclaimer: I usually get chocolate and salted caramel macarons.
