I was at Cheval on Friday night for a birthday party. I was excited to go hear because I heard it was great on a Friday night.
The more and more I hear about a "great" place the more I realize that we all have different opinions on what great really is.
The club itself is smaller, which I liked and they had a nice patio upstairs. There were booths around the dance floor which generally are reserved for bottle service; however, there were only 2 booths reserved.. pretty upsetting if this place is supposed to be "great" on a Friday night.
The music was good. It was a big mix of everything. When I first arrived they were playing dance music then as the night went on it was top 40, hip hop and rock.
The crowd was just like the music, a mix. I was told the crowd is always good looking.. but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I saw maybe 2 guys who would be considered good looking by a majority of people with today's standards. The place was pretty empty too, so I wasn't impressed at all.
I must say though that I liked the bathrooms. Each stall had their own sink and it was very clean. To make a suggestion though I would put the hand towels in the stalls too. Just so people aren't walking out of the stalls with dripping hands to grab one.
Oh and if you're going to give out complimentary gum I wouldn't leave it open sitting in a little dish I'd defiantly have the gum still wrapped up... that's dirty.
I wouldn't go back unless I was obligated to go for another party.
