I don't think coffee snobbery in Vegas is quite as bad as it is in LA and OC. At least that's the impression I got. I didn't see too many artisan coffee shops when I did a Yelp search around the area. This seemed like the only place that was somewhat comparable. It was the only one I can find that roasts its own beans. I think it also has an in-house baker that makes all the pastry items.
I don't know what the going price is for coffee and tea drinks in this area, but it was certainly less than what I'm used to paying in LA and OC. These days, anything less than $5 for coffee seems like a bargain. Everything on the menu at this place was less than $5 so I was pretty excited when I looked at their menu. Most expensive items are Sweet & Seasonal latte drinks at $4.75, which may be comparable since the cups here are small (maybe 8 oz.-10 oz.). My wife and I went with Bourbon Vanilla and Maple Cardamom lattes under this category. Drinks were well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Maple Cardamom was surprisingly good with a subtle hint of cardamom. This is a pretty strong spice so it can easily overpower the flavor if there's too much of it.
Pastry items looked interesting but didn't get to try any because we were still full from breakfast at Kitchen Table.
It's located in the same center as Trader Joe's and Dollar Tree.
