Duke is a-ok. I went here for a yelp event (thanks for arranging Evelyn!). Its a great place to kick back for a few drinks. I had a glass of Reisling. I was starving (theme this week in my dining experiences) so after chugging on my wine with an empty stomach, I became slightly inebriated and starving. I had a very average salad (I'd like butter with my bun! But didn't get any :(, then fish and chips for main. The fish was great. The problem is I wolfed it down, and not being accustomed to eating really greasy food, felt somewhat nauseated afterwards (the last time I ate anything deep fried would be a good 1-2 years ago). I had the toffee pudding for dessert-I loved it, but it was super filling and could only finish half the serving.
Overall, an average dining experience. I wouldn't return here for food (sorry guys could do more to spruce up your flavouring and presentation) but would to hang out and chill. Service was really friendly, and the place itself was cozy.
