Stopped here before a wedding reception to grab drinks and were both pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar and the ambiance was nice... Cozy chairs with red velvet seats and a bright picture of the sea painted on the side wall. They have a back room that also holds about 30. My husband had a red stripe and I sipped on a few glasses of wine, which were both reasonably priced. We decided to try a beef patty as well. The exterior of the patty was flaky, and although the meat inside was not the juiciest ever, it was not dry either; it was an average patty, according to my Jamaican husband. It came with a delicious red sauce for dipping, which was mild and flavor. This particular sauce was not traditional to Jamaican culture, but it did pair well with the beef patty. The waitstaff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of menu items. Bathrooms were well-kept. The only downfall noted is there is no happy hour- would have loved to come back for drinks but maybe they will change that in the future.. Hooks under the bar do not exist for purses ladies, but that's a minor detail. We can't wait to try the jerk chicken during our next visit!
