I would have given this place way more stars if I agreed with one of their rules that just doesn't make sense to me. We came on a Sunday for the family deal. With groups of 4 or more people you get 20% off as long as each person picks their own piece to paint. I brought my 2 young kids and I would have originally just got 2 pieces to paint for them, but since I saw the Sunday family deal I said cool, let's just each get our own. The service was pretty good until the end. The girl that helped us right when we walked in was awesome. I think her name was Mina. There are many options to choose from. My kids had a hard time deciding which one they wanted to paint; so that was a plus. There were many colors. Brushes were clean. It was a pretty cool experience. At the end, I took my son to the bathroom and my husband paid for our bill. As we were walking out, I noticed we didn't get the 20% discount. I immediately turned around back to the store to ask what I missed. Then the girl told me I had to have mentioned the deal before we paid for it. First of all, I was in the bathroom and it was literally 5 minutes ago. I just can't imagine that they can't do something after the transaction is over. That is horrible service and totally unfair. It's ridiculous to want to squeeze an extra $20 out of a customer for one visit.. Rather than applying the deserved discounted special for Sunday family fun to guarantee a customer to return in the future. Everything went well until the end. Too bad I'm never coming back here because of that. I heard there was another pottery place in town. I'll go there instead.
