Colleagues and I came here for lunch. Fish and chips Fridays. Their halibut and chips are excellent. Next time, I will take a picture of my fish halfway eaten to show how well the batter stays attached to the fish. It remains crunchy, with a well cooked fish, not over fried, in nice clean oil. My colleague and I eat fish with a dash of pepper, a squeeze of lemon and some malt vinegar. The batter is so, so excellent. My halibut didn't fall apart one bit after I added the lemon and malt.
Delicious. Ate my fish and chips with a pint of ale.
