| - This Target is definitely aimed at the student/new-condo-dwelling demographic. Maybe it's just the different setup of the store, but it seems like there are more juniors clothes than average, the home goods section is smaller with more of a focus on trendy decorative items, and the grocery area is pretty sizable considering the overall footprint of the store.
This location also seems to be largely staffed by students/teens. Generally no issue, but returns are a bit more of a pain than I've encountered at other locations. The vibe of a lot of the interactions is "don't know better/first job." An interaction that comes to mind is when I had to pick up a shelf to get a replacement part from the box. There was no one around in the shelf area so I went to customer service and asked for help lifting it. The young man told me there should be someone over there. I walked back, there still wasn't, so I picked up the shelf and maneuvered it into the cart by myself. I wheeled it back and told him there wasn't anyone in that area, just as an FYI. "Did you lift it by yourself? You shouldn't do that, you can hurt your back." No duh, kid. That's why I came to ask for help and told you there wasn't anyone there in the first place.
A few select interactions like that aside, my trips have been a pretty typical Target experience. This isn't my go-to location, but it is the closest so it's in my regular rotation.
