| - Firefly is a great place for tapas and drinks! They're famous for their red sangria so I recommend getting a pitcher of that. It's my go-to drink! I have been here so many times and I just haven't gotten a chance to write a review. I order probably 6-7 dishes every time I'm here. My top favorites so far are their bacon wrapped dates, mushroom tart, tierra y mar skewers, scallop "escargots", steak&mushroom skewers, and their camarones a la diabla. The bacon wrapped dates is a nice blend of sweet and salty, with a dash of creaminess from the cheese crumbles. I can have all 5 to myself, honestly. The mushroom reminds me of cream of mushroom soup over puff pastries. It's so delicious! The tierra y may skewers is a little bit of everything from shrimp, chorizo, and I think some beef. The scallop "escargots" are exactly what they sound like, they're scallops made how escargots are normally made on the escargot platter with the butter herbs. The butter herbs is so delicious. After eating all the scallops, I enjoy dipping my bread in the butter. For the steak and mushrooms, it's steak and mushrooms! How can you go wrong with that. The camarones a la diabla are shrimps in a somewhat sweet and spicy sauce. It's to die for. I also love dipping my bread in the sauce. Maybe the only reason that I don't write this review is because it makes me hungry! Haha.
The service is very subpar. In all honestly, they should just hire more employees because it takes long to get your order in, to get more orders, to get a refill or anything. Plus the guys are not very pleasant, but oh wells! Can't expect 5 start service from such a busy place. Parking sucks so maybe just bring a couple dollars for the valet? And it's a very noisy atmosphere so don't expect to go here for a quiet dinner. Definitely try this place out.
