Went in today to look at used Odysseys. Test drove a 2015 EXL listed at $30k with 23,000 miles on it. It had these hideous low profile tires and obnoxious rims on it but the salesperson said they could change out the tires no problem if we wanted. Once we got into the highway, the steering wheel started shaking violently and I knew something was really wrong. Salesperson casually mentions that they just put those tires onto the van (because apparently they were not selling on other cars either). Made it back to the dealership safely and left as fast as possible. Salesperson texts me a pic of the shredded tire about 10 min later, and leaves me a voicemail saying they'd be glad to replace the tires and rims if we were still interested? I had zero interest in spending money on a car that your are switching out pieces on to suit your needs, but thanks. Glad we didn't have a blowout during the test drive.
