Bakerbots has come a long way since it first opened its doors last year. They are now open most days of the week starting at 4pm and have hired extra staff to help work the counter in the evening allowing the real baking bots go home and get some rest.
They now offer a vegan Callebaut chocolate chip cookie that is a coconuty, apple saucey delight and two types of vegan ice-cream, including a dairy-free chocolate! Hallelujah! It's Gelato Fresco, so it's quality stuff. Get yourself a half sandwich (they do that) with half raspberry, half chocolate dairy-free ice-creams and you'll be in sugar heaven!
This also opens up a whole new vegan possibility - the affogato or "drowned' in italian - chocolate sorbet with an espresso shot poured over it. Yum yum yum!
Still witholding a star because I want to believe a day will come when they make those red velvet cupcakes vegan-style. Please xenu, make it happen!
