Pet owners paradise! I'll admit my expectations were pretty low. What do you expect from a hotel that doesn't charge pet fees? The first pleasant surprise occurred upon checking into the hotel when they gave us two dog treats and a handy bag dispenser keychain. Then they asked if we'd like to have a dog bed delivered to our room. We await this dog bed with a mix of hope and fear. What kind of dog bed can a hotel with no pet fee possibly offer? A clean, extra fluffy and comfortable one along with a food and water bowl mat. Also did we need the food and water bowls? Well played Sheraton! Time for a walk which is typically awkward at a hotel for me and the dogs as they have to do their business in some token piece of grass next to the parking lot. There we were walking around in the big grassy area behind hotel when I discovered a walking track on the outer edge of parking lot. Brilliant! Sure the room is clean, there's a restaurant and bar, nice pool and fitness room, coin laundry in basement, friendly staff, conveniently located to airport and Cracker Barrel but the best part is that it is the rare dog oasis among the many over priced, stinky, dirty rooms usually given to those traveling with pets.
