  • I will never be back. I have been Going to shaggy chic for years and the service has gone downhill. The appointments have run longer. What used to be a 1 hour appointment turned into a 2 hour appointment today 6/8/2016. When I arrived at 10:11 I was told 20 more minutes, it is 10:52 as I right this and my dog is still not done. I sat for the last 10 minutes listening to the lady cutting my dogs hair only to hear her repeatedly tell my dog he is a bad dog and she was going to bite him back. When the other girl came to take my money I told her I would not be back and explained why. She made an excuse that the lady was late because of an accident but the last two times I have been here they are late because of something. Plan ahead, the rest of us have to. I am now I now have 30 minutes until a doctors appointment which I will be late to because of this lady. 2.5 hours is what I allowed for a one hour appointment and yet here I am, waiting. Next the girl checking me out said that Napoleon was being bad so the lady needed to talk to him, I told her there was a different way to talk to an animal than that and she just said "well I haven't heard that," maybe it's because you are used to it and don't think anything of it girl checking me out, but as the owner of the pet, this is not ok. I said that this is the nature of the business, the dog is going to be upset but you don't talk to them like that. The girl checking me out was copping attitude with me, I told her that when a customer is upset that she should not be responding with Excuses and attitude. She just took my card and that was it. Oh but how kind, a 10% discount. I would rather pay $100 to a mobile massage than to hear and see this happening to my dog. I will never be back and after this experience the people I have sent there will not be pleased to know that this is how their pets are being handled. I have been kind enough and patient enough for this long but today was the final straw. An owner or employee reply attempting to justify any of this will lot be acceptable. It is 11:10 and still no pet. The girl at the desk who apparently also handles the pets told a guy 2.5 hours for his two dogs. Good lucky guy. Hopefully his dogs just need trim around the face and a blow dry. A shave and Mohawk are too complicated for this shop that used to have credibility being owned by a woman who has had champion dogs. Don't trust that anymore.
