  • I'm not sure who John Dutton is, but I thank him for his theatre in the library downtown. Spacious theatre style seating, a stage, projector... even a big screen! It's a great spot to hold an event. I was most recently here for the screening of @Nenshi4mayor during the Calgary International Film Festival. We were sitting on the far left side (stage right I think? I'm no drama major). The seats were far back enough that it was easy to have a clear view. Behind the scenes, there's a little green room off to one side if you're looking for a place to put your presenters. PS... just googled John Dutton. He was the library's director from 1979-1991.
