  • Tried this place for the first time last night. Expiring groupon coupons will force you to do it, NOW! It was early, so getting a table wasn't a problem, or parking (small parking lot, can definitely see it as a problem finding a place once it gets crowded). We were greeted by a lovely hostess and given the option of indoor or outdoor, we chose indoors - cozy place with tables somewhat close in proximity to each other....I can tell you what they were talking about at each table around us- "I would have left him too if he acted like that" LOL!! Our server was very nice, answered all our questions, we told her we were first timers, and she educated us on the menu and made some suggestions - which were fabulous! Drinks were delish (red sangria for both my hubby and I) and then we ordered the salmon croquets (so good), entrees my husband had the pulled pork, and I had the enchiladas - both very good and plentiful. My only negatives are these 1) food came too fast, we had just started to enjoy our drinks when the appetizer arrived, I like to enjoy my drink a bit before I start eating, didn't happen had to start on my croquets NOW, then half way through our croquets, here comes our entrees - I felt rushed and don't like that my food has to sit on the side and wait till i'm done with my appetizer (it was simply too good to let go and we were paying for it). 2) Had a hard time distinguishing staff from customers, not that i want to see uniforms on staff but wasn't sure if the lady with the coat was just taking food to & from random tables ...and there was a guy that kept rubbing girls shoulders (on staff masseuse perhaps) just give me something that helps me determine who's who 3) kinda pricey...here's an idea scale back the portions and adjust the price. Portions are LARGE - but I don't think enchiladas should cost $27.00, and pulled pork $25.00. Salmon croquets (2) $14.00 - come on man...... (we chose sides of mashed potatoes and corn bread, my husband had cornbread and green beans). Didn't save room for dessert and we just couldn't finish the meal...too much, saving it for the next day.
