  • sorry insomniac I've always been a big fan of your festivals I even went to the past edc 3 years in a row but honestly this year sucked so bad!! Like the first day it was ridiculously crowded the whole festival felt like it shrunk? Maybe there were too many people or the stages were shrunken to make room for other stuff? Whatever the case was basically it was so crowded, it was hard to walk through crowds without people tripping all over each other. Second, kinetic field was your BEST stage and this year they changed it and now it looks like shit like there's literally one giant owl in the middle and some doors on both sides, last year when they were the cathedrals and the two giant owls I thought that was much more amazing and exhilarating to even look at. Also to add the first day I was randomly exploring all the stages and there was a lot of shitty DJs playing some suck-ish music like I wasn't even enjoying first day. OH and to add it was SOO hot ESP at night the first day I swore I was going to pass out from heat exhaustion... And it was NIGHT TIME. It's such a shame they took out the cooling zones man when the AC rooms were here last year I think that room saved a lot of lives because it was the only cool place to be . Oh and also to add there was a ton of people leaving around 2 am (I was one of them) because they couldn't tolerate it anymore, it was literally so hot and there was so many drugged up weirdos running around everywhere it was pretty bad. And in the parking lot EVERYONE was literally walking around lost looking for their car because say if you parked in C3 like C3 is as big as 25 compact rows of cars it literally took me 2 hours to find my car. Then traffic was such a pain in the Ass the whole way back I didn't get home until probably 8 am .. And I left at 2!!! Day 2: it wasn't as packed (probably because everyone didn't want to deal with day 1 again thinking it was going to be really packed again) but today there was SOME good acts. But some of the really good DJs like dash Berlin didn't play to their fullest potential ): and that was kinda disappointing. Oh and I even noticed there was a ton of DJs that were being reused for like 2 or 3 of the days. Honestly if insomniac is making so much money and they said they were going to put all the money into the experience rather than the music ... WHERE IS IT? I didn't really see many things that impacted my experience like kinetic field looked like crap , and the place is way smaller and the security and the staff all don't give a f about half the stuff going on. Like literally I went to the door where the staff was supposed to check me and my bag and stuff and the guy just stared at me and told me to go in. LOL okay man. Day 3 Omg the staff REALLY didn't care about anything this day hahaha but day 3 was way packed and it was actually hot this night too but not as hot as Saturday night. All the people looked so miserable from doing so many drugs the full 3 days I don't know how they were able to stay until dawn the last night. The bathrooms all literally had NO toilet paper at ALL. I went to each and every porta potty and couldn't find any toilet paper like cmon man I really needed to pee . But on the bright side There was a lot of good DJs today like Dillon Francis and dada life (: but yeah basically I left early today because I really needed to pee and I wanted to beat traffic so I ended up taking Las Vegas blvd all the way down and there was no traffic for me which was the best part of the night. Anyways I feel edc this year deserves a 2 star because I didn't have a completely miserable time but it wasn't as good as last years
